Sharon Chan-Knight & Tammy Preast have been good friends for over a decade and have been working together on various projects & events since 2004. Tammy and Sharon have an eye for detail and a quest to bring you the best in quality and enjoyment and never tire of dreaming up new ideas to make each event they work on unique, different, memorable, successful and fun!  They are committed and driven to perfect each element of the events they work on – decor, timing, delectables, budget or sponsors, they strive to make all the components the right fit for all those involved.

In 2006, they formed Ask A Woman Events with the goal of creating a legacy event that would appeal to women while raising funds for The B.C./Yukon Region of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, a cause that was near and dear to their hearts.  Tammy’s grandmother had succumbed to this terrible disease at the young age of 52, when Tammy was just a young girl, and Sharon wanted to create a signature fundraising project appealing to women.  For four years, the two friends and business partners in Ask A Woman Events, have worked to pull together all of the elements needed to create an enjoyable and successful event!

Now in their 5th year, the project has grown tremendously with the introduction of the Pamela Masik Mosaik Project.  With the formation of a powerhouse  committee, chaired by Kevin Lorage of Buschlen Mowatt Gallery, Prêt-A-Pour-Tea promises to be bigger & better than ever!   2010 has many pleasant surprises in store for all those who attend & support this fabulous series of events & projects associated with Prêt-A-Pour-Tea, Prêt-A-Pour-Nuit and Be Part of the Bigger Picture ~ The Masik Mosaik Photo Fundraising Project!
